Belinda was introduced to golf by her older brother Jared when she was just 13. During her school years however, Belinda concentrated on other sports and represented Queensland in netball, athletics and also dancing at a national level. It wasn’t until she had finished school that she decided to take golf seriously. Since then, golf has seen Belinda travel nationally and internationally – taking her game to new heights.
Belinda regards 2004 as her most consistent year. She won the Titanium Ladies Classic, was a semi finalist at the Queensland, South Australian and Australian Amateur events and runner up at the Victorian Amateur. She also finished as the leading amateur at the 2005 ALPG Ladies Players Championship shortly before turning professional in March 2005. Belinda has had her first win at the Mollymook Pro-am, in her 4th event as a professional.
Belinda has recorded a hole-in-one and currently holds 7 course records.
Her other interests include dancing and going to the gym .
